Transitional Pastor John Welch For the past 12 years John has served on the staff of the North American Mission Board. The first 10 years he was a Church Finance Consultant working with churches in the west. He recently retired from his position as Associate Executive Director for Vision San Diego, a city reaching ministry of North American Mission Board. John is a native Californian and received his formal education from California Baptist University and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. As a part of John’s personal ministry, he is actively involved as an interim pastor and serves as a mentor for pastors and ministers. You may reach him via email at jnamb@cox.net   Music/Administration Pastor Steve Nichols Steve Nichols received his Bachelor of Music degree from Cal State Fullerton and his Master of Music degree from Azusa Pacific University. His technique has changed over the years but his philosophy has remained the same - his music must be presented with excellence and it must impact the soul of the listener. Prior to moving to Huntington Beach, he was Pastor of Music at Southwest Community Church in Palm Desert for ten years. For the last 11 years Steve has been developing the ministry of music at Faith Fellowship and administrating the affairs of the church. Steve and wife, Jan, have three children and one grandchild. At the age of 19 he surrendered to the calling of God to serve Him completely with his life. At 22 he entered Emmaus Bible College and received his Bachelor's of Science in Biblical Studies. After graduating he moved back to California to attend BIOLA University to attain his Master of Apologetics. Matthew has served in various ministries for the last 12 years, but mostly he has focused on Youth Ministries. He has been a Youth Pastor in California, Iowa, and Colorado. Matthew has a great love and desire to work with teens and see them come to a greater knowledge and passion for their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He and his wife, Samantha, continue to seek and point others to Jesus.
